Lorian Shelving’s Vertical shelving reduces labour time, saving 15 minutes to 2+ hours, compared to the traditional sorting methods used. The vertical sorting shelving allows sorting officers to sort directly into the delivery sequence, taking away the two-pass action of horizontal sorting. All shelves on the upright shelving system are easily accessible preventing body strain.

Each upright shelving unit has 5 height adjustable lockable shelves that are set to suit individual users’ heights and arm reach. 250 lightweight flexible dividers to create separate slots that make large and small items to be inserted vertically into slots and remain upright. Clear plastic strips are fixed onto the front of each shelf is for inserting printed address strips. The vertical sorting shelves are powder coated and mobile with 2 front lockable wheels.

An extra shelf can be fitted, as long as it complies with the Ergonomic Occupational Health and Safety Standards for the industry and on the individual’s height. More dividers can be fitted, dependant on points required.
